Week 4 Update
For this week, we decided to focus our attention on finishing up the junction design as well as the third rail. Then, we would mount the design onto our track and finalize any changes. The design that we have decided to go with is shown below. A separate design is also shown as a possibility for the junction design.
As for the third rail, we have included those dimensions below.
We have been communicating closely with the solar team in order to provide them with information that would benefit them. We have provided them our newest design and they have provided us with updated specifications of their design. We are also right on track for our first presentation. It seems as if we will have everything finalized before our deadline.
