Week 1 & 2

Week 1 & 2 Update

Throughout the past two weeks, David and I have been working together to figure out what needs to be done for the guideway this semester. We had decided previously that we would be either manufacturing the track or continuing with our designs to leave future years with concrete designs. 

Through much discussion and debate, we found that we would be modifying our design this semester as well as trying to get a small portion of the junction manufactured. We have decided to use the previous curved tracked left behind by previous years. This track resembles the half-scale track very closely. We will be providing all teams with dimensions and would like to point some things out for certain teams.

• Solar Team: We will be providing new dimensions for track so that you can have an idea on how to implement your design. 
• Interface, Steering, Controls, and Wayside Teams: The gap in the middle will remain 12". 
• All Teams: Dimensions will be provided very soon.

We are well on our way to setting up our first presentation of the semester.
